New Hotels
Preparing a hotel to greet its first guests is a complex experience that can become stressful if not well prepared. A detailed understanding of the process, good timing, and many other elements are required to ensure a successful opening.
AKHC can assist in this process. In a number of workshops with our client, AKHC and - if required - specialized consultants will develop the overall organization and structure of the future hotel. We are available to assist in the staff recruitment and training or to find qualified trainers to get all staff members ready for 'the big day'.
In addition to the operational aspects of the hotel/resort, other aspects such as Finance, IT, human resources or marketing can be integrated in the project.
AKHC can be involved either only in the pre-opening preparations of the hotel/resort or be actively involved and assist the management of the new hotel/resort during the initial few months after the opening.
Existing Hotels
For existing hotels/resorts, we offer consultancy services for all departments including food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, human resources, finance and others.
The complete organization and structure of a hotel/resort can be analyzed. In two to five workshops, clear goals will be identified, a comprehensive development strategy along with a 100 day-action plan will be developed outlining all required milestones and tasks to implement the development strategy.
Specialized hospitality consultants can be included in these workshops.
AKHC can organize and monitor the initial workshops only, be either a quiet mentor in the background, or be actively involved in the implementation of the development strategy.
Investors
The hospitality industry offers almost unlimited opportunities for investors. However, it is important to carefully analyze and evaluate the potential, sustainability and return on a new investment opportunity. AKHC assists in this process.
We can identify and suggest to our clients interesting investment opportunities in the Caribbean and in Latin America and arrange the initial visits and meetings.
In cooperation with specialized legal advisors and lawyers in the related country, we can then guide our client through the entire acquisition process up to the signing of the contract and closing of the transaction.
